Sub-decree no. 271 on the separation of Odongk district of Kampong Speu province by dividing Odongk district of Kampong Speu province into two parts: Udongk Maechey city and Samaki Monichey district of Kampong Speu province as follows: 1. Udongk Maechey city by dividing 5 communes such as Veang Chas commune, Veal Pong commune, Trach Tong commune, Srah Sre commune and Khsem Khsant commune from Udongk district, Kampong Speu province. 2. Samaki Monichey district by dividing 10 communes such as Chan Saen commune, Cheung Roas commune, Chumpu Proeks commune, Krang Chek commune, Mean Chey commune, Prey Krasang commune, Yutth Sameakki commune, Damnak Reang commune, Peang Lvea commune and Phnom Touch commune, Odongk district, Kampong Speu province.
