This Sub-decree establishes Kiri Yong natural heritage site which has areas of 984.31 (nine hundred eighty-four hectares and thirty-one acres) located in Treng and Raksmey Songha commune, Ratanak Mondul district, Battambang province. The establishment of this protected areas aims to protect the area's ecosystem for the advantages of all the human generations, limit the use of the area's natural and cultural resources, protect the area's natural landscape and values, and provide for the natural services for its sustainable use through the encouragement of the local communities and the public to participate in the management, protection and conservation of the biodiversity and resources in the area. Annexes of the geographic location map and coordination table are attached in this sub-decree.
