Public Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Act, B.E. 2550 (2007)

In this Act: “public disaster” means fire, windstorm, flooding, drought, epidemic in humans, in animals or in marine animals, or invasion of plant pests, including other disaster which affects the public, whether it is caused by nature, person, accident, or any other causes, and thereby causes harm to lives or bodies of the people, or damages to properties of the people or of the State, and shall also include air disaster and terrorism.
