Logistics challenges in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam (report chapter)

Chapter 10 of the report "A study on upgrading industrial structure of CLMV countries.” This chapter describes and highlights key issues affecting the integration of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV countries) from a logistical perspective, using Laos as a case study. The author argues that CLMV countries currently have limited connectivity and logistics networks, which affects competitiveness and ability to attract foreign direct investment. Limited connectivity is not only confined within CLMV but also exists in these four nations’ logistics situation with the advanced economies in Southeast Asia.
