Thailand Monitoring Sustainable Development: The State - Private Sector - People Nexus

Although the Thai government has adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development as its national agenda, in reality, sustainable development is hardly implemented in Thailand. Every sector must realize the importance of sustainable development and it must be ingrained in the inner consciousness, not from enforcing rules.”A so-called ‘global’ networking is a crucial part in learning to accomplish the SDGs and to construct powerful partnerships. This report illustrates the examples of a crucial role of civil society organizations in propelling sustainable development, by elevating and improving their practices in order to establish concrete approach to link with the SDGs, under the circumstances of social economic and political changes in Thailand.
