This arbitral award is issued by the Arbitrator Council on the issue between T & L (Cambodia) Handbags Industrial Co., Ltd.(employer) and the ​Workers' representatives in resolving collective labor disputes of T & L (Cambodia) Handbags Industrial Co., Ltd. (employee). According to the award, 11 points are demanded by the employee side and are yet to be resolved including 1) the company not union bust or discriminate against the union or terminate union leaders, and reinstates illegally terminated unionists; 2) company pays workers before 4pm each pay day; 3) the company not terminate pregnant workers; 4) the company maintains hygiene and sanitation in toilets; 5) the company allows pregnant workers to have a health check every month while maintaining the same wages and benefits; 6) the company prepares enough drinking water for workers and employees; 7) the company provides health facilities including an emergency room; 8) the company pays workers with new banknotes, instead of old and torn ones; 9) the company not force workers to work overtime until 8pm; 10) the company provides transportation to workers when they are sick or have work-related injuries; 11) the company instructs admins to use more appropriate language when talking to workers. The outcome of the arbitral award was that most of the demands were rejected, but the employer was ordered to pay compensation, owed wages, and benefits for the laid-off workers.
