The Royal Decree declares of establishment of the Trapaing Thmar Sanctuary in Trapaing Thmar district, Banteay Meanchey province, that has a total area 12,650 hectares. The main purposes of this establishment are to protect the crane and other endangered bird species, reserve the water to provide all living birds a better habitation, and source of agriculture irrigation supplies, and to stabilize environment for reproduction of all birds.Royal decree no.110 on Establishment of Ang Trapeang Thmor Crane Sanctuary.
