The primary aim of the ASY is to provide accurate, reliable and timely historical annual data on ASEAN in the following fields: population, education, health, employment, macroeconomic performance, trade in goods and services, foreign direct investment, transport, tourism, agriculture, manufacturing as well as other indicators and sectors. The ASY 2016/2017 covers the period of 2007-2016 for all 10 ASEAN Member States – Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.
