Prakas no. 172 on the revision of Prakas no. 047 on adding price tags to all products and services
The Ministry of Commerce issued a Prakas to revise Prakas No 047 on the Price Label on Products and Services in order to strengthen the mechanism of the development of free market and fair competition. This new Prakas stipulates that all traders, merchants and service providers are obliged to tag prices on their goods and services in Khmer currency. However, the price tag in foreign currency is permissible and can last for a year, if permitted by the Department of Trade Promotion.
