This article reports that at least thousands of workers in various provinces in Cambodia have left their jobs to protest on public streets, demanding seniority pay and an end to violations of their rights by factory owners. Some workers closed their houses, while others claimed to have been arrested. Today, nearly 2,000 workers from Holiday Design (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., located in Tuol Tbeng village, Prey Vihear commune, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province, protested. They demanded that the company reinstate union leaders and union founders, and address issues related to wages and more.
