A presentation discussing the potential for a regional agreement on transboundary environmental impact assessments (TEIA) in Asia. The presenter introduces regional and sub-regional TEIA around the world, and argues there is a need for TEIA. He then discusses TEIA practice and conventions in Central Asia, the Mekong, North Asia and Caspian regions, and concludes by discussing potential for a regional Asian TEIA agreement.
