Kamchay Dam: GPS Coordinate

Kamchay Hydroelectric Development Project was contracted for 44 years including 4 years of construction by Sinohydro Kamchay Hydroelectric Co,Ltd. The construction was planned to begin from 2007 and be finished in 2011.The operation of producing electricity began on 30 August 2011. The project is sited in Chou district, Kampot province, to the North of the town about 15 km. The coordination of the project location is between the parallels of latitude 10º40.144´N and 10º49.496´N, and between the meridian of longitude 104º04.667´E and 104º08.663´E. The 1st Dam, located about 4.5 km upper of Tek Chou natural tourist site; the 2nd Dam, located about 300 meters upper of Tek Chou.
